Our Sport yarn is a lovely, plied yarn that comes in all of the colors of our Fisherman, Solids, Shetland, Glen Tweed, and Rangeley yarns! Our most versatile yarn, Sport is equally as well-suited for hand knitters and weavers.

Sport yarn can be used as fingering yarn, or as warp or weft, or for machine crafted sweaters. Sport is about half the weight of standard "knitting worsted" and is mule-spun with two, soft, sturdy, plies that resist any tendency to skew or "bias." Put up only on convenient, economical one-pound cones (1,750 yards).
